Dear Members and Friends,
This is a challenging time for us as individuals, as an Association and as a country.
Due to the latest COVID-19 advice from governments around the world, we are following guidelines and confirm that our forthcoming A.G.M. on 20th April and Support Group Meetings are cancelled with immediate effect and will be postponed until further notice. Advice and consultation have been taken from neurology consultants and MND Specialists our utmost concern is to keep everyone as safe as possible in these uncertain times.
Our wonderful team of Association visitors are fully on board with the policy fo the MNDA. We can assure you that they will do their very best to keep contact with people and support in various ways that don’t involve face to face contact. We are uncertain about the Willow Trust trip planned for June, but everyone will be kept up to date on arrangements for this.
We will reschedule the A.G.M. as soon as we possibly can as well as support group meetings and fundraising events. With the situation changing so quickly, it isn’t practical to set new dates but please feel reassured that I will be back in touch in the near future.
There are many unknowns in this ever-changing situation but pleased be assured that your safety and well being are paramount. Although we do not know how long the coronavirus situation will continue, we will do all we can to help as best we can. We will stay in touch with updates as they progress.
Yours very sincerely,
Secretary – MNDA Gloucestershire
