Patrick and myself on the 13th June did the 3 Castle Challenge.
We started at Skenfrith castle at 8-45am and walked to Grosmont castle, unfortunately the sole of my boot detached itself and I had to make some running repairs thanks to the shop keeper I tied it up. We had 30 minutes rest there until walking on to White castle were we had another 30 minutes break and some beer, then back to Skenfrith.
We walked 22 miles and climbed 4500 feet in 8 hours 45 minutes and raised approximately £800.
Our socks were surgically removed after the event.
